Request for Special Consideration 2009
At its 7 October 2008 meeting, Academic Senate approved two new policies, one on Special Consideration and the other on Unit Guides.
The associated procedures have been approved by the Academic Registrar and the Senate Learning and Teaching Committee, respectively. Both policies were developed following extensive consultation with staff in the Divisions and Offices.
The Special Consideration Policy will come into effect on 1 January 2009 and completely replaces the previous two-step process involving Advice of Absence and Special Consideration.
As part of this development, new streamlined forms will be available in the New Year at: www.student.mq.edu.au/ses/forms.html
